Talia Fletcher joins impactHR as a Senior Consultant, Special Projects, where she focuses on government contractor compliance, with an emphasis on affirmative action planning, as well as content development and marketing initiatives.
A natural storyteller and earnest problem-solver, she has a unique ability to make complex compliance topics accessible and meaningful for the clients she serves. Having known impactHR founder Kelly for nearly twenty years, joining the team felt less like a career move and more like coming home.
Her journey began as a contractor for the National Institutes of Health, where she recruited doctors and social workers for research roundtables. That early experience sparked a passion for connecting people with opportunity, which led her to HR, and built a career she is truly passionate about.
Over time, she found her calling in affirmative action and compliance, where her commitment to equality found its professional home. That passion continues today with impactHR in marketing and compliance, supporting government contractors with their compliance needs.
She holds an MBA and an MS in Project Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and brings a rare combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and relationship-building to everything she does.
When she is not untangling affirmative action data or crafting compelling content, she can be found writing fiction, she is currently working on her second novel, playing disc golf, or enjoying quiet time at home with her husband Mike, her two cats, Holly and Miesha, and her retired racing Greyhound, Emmie.
